Revolutionizing the fashion industry since 2017

Combining both her love for fashion and a deep understanding of AI, our founder Svetlana Kordumova - with a PhD in Computer Vision and AI - decided to use her scientific knowledge to improve the online shopping experience of people spending too much time and effort looking for what they want on e-commerce sites. AI can help with exactly that, saving our most important asset: time. That was in 2017. Today, with a great team, we're on a mission to build the world's most accurate visual AI technology to help fashion retailers delight their shoppers with truly amazing online customer experiences. The visual revolution in e-commerce is here, and we are determined to lead it.

The Pixyle brand

So, what's with the name? Well, we've trained AI to see deep into image pixels and understand their fashion style. Hence the equation: PIXels + stYLE = PIXYLE, also known as Pixyle.ai. We acknowledge the fact that humans have a symbiotic relationship with AI; humans see through eyes, computers use camera lenses. The logo reflects just that: a camera lens placed in a human eye. Our visual identity reflects the fashion industry and the way we feel about the future of AI: bright, colourful and optimistic. All colours and gradients we use are those you see when you look at a camera lens. This is what we stand by, use AI to help computers see and understand fashion, with the highest accuracy possible.

What we do

We've built image recognition software that enables fashion retailers to deliver great online customer experiences. Our AI technology helps shoppers navigate e-commerce sites in a much more intuitive and convenient way, using images instead of text. We're offering AI solutions ranging from visual search, similar recommendations, automatic tagging to a fully customizable business intelligence and data visualization platform. Pixyle's technology is fit for the future: it's accurate, powerful and integrates seamlessly with any tech stack.

We know artificial intelligence. We love fashion. At Pixyle, we believe online shopping shouldn't be about endlessly browsing a site to finally pick that item you were looking for, only to then discover it's out-of-stock. Instead, shopping should be about finding exactly the right product for you, getting inspired, and maybe ending up with an item you didn't think of beforehand but turned out to be your favourite dress ever. What we're saying is, shopping for clothes should be an exciting, fun and 100% satisfying experience.

Our values

Play, as a team
First and foremost, we believe in our people. They make the difference. Especially when we work together. That's why in our work, it's all about collaboration. We're keen on creating a culture where everyone feels happy and confident in sharing their skills, knowledge and experience. When that collective intention happens, magic happens. 👏

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
We feel kinda uncomfortable with the status quo. Customer needs are ever changing and we need to keep up. That's why we're obsessed with the ones who really matter: customers. We're constantly improving and adapting upon what we learn from them. And for the more observant among you... Yup, we play music in our office and like to sing (and if we feel like it, dance) along with  Daft Punk. 🎶

Be bold
At Pixyle, we have a bias for action. We encourage everyone to take decisions and act accordingly if you believe it's the right thing to do. From every action, whether it results in success or failure, we learn tons of stuff. So have a growth mindset, act with courage and just go do it. We got each others back. 👊

Respect diversity
We value differences. The world is a beautiful place full of diversity in gender, race, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, cultural background, religious beliefs, and all this leads into diversity in fashion. We believe embracing these differences is just the right thing to do; respect and equal treatment for everyone. ❤️

"As part of the Rockstart AI family, Pixyle made impressive progress. Their visual search API will truly change the way people shop on e-commerce platforms."
